Conservative Party Clean me
This Party Political Broadcast has been realized by the Conservative Party for the Political Election of 2005. It can be collected within the "Fear" genre because of its aim to raise anxiety and panic into the voters. The ads shows a dead England, disenchanted that can just ask "Clean Me", in order to eliminate what the Labour created during their government. Images such as a young girl preparing a joint in a smoking area, teachers dressed like policemen and armed, a writing on a lorry which says: "5 tons of illegal immigrants inside", a man walking drunk in the center of the town and others, suggest the idea of a Country that is quickly degenerating.
Therefore the ads is a direct attack to the opposite Party which neglected its initial promises and brought the Country in the poverty. Each voter watching the melancholic video, could feel responsible of the bad situation of the Country and therefore it is led to reflect on who voting next, in particular through the last sentence which states: "Are you thinking what we are thinking? Vote Conservative".
